About our name. Not only is Heather a bit of a geek, but she is also a BEEK, which is how the name Geek Bookkeeping was born. What is a beek, you ask? It is someone who loves bees. Heather previously owned and operated a small retail business that focused on beekeeping supplies and education. The store had a traditional brick-and-mortar storefront and an e-commerce website.

Secretly, Heather's favorite part of running her business was actually keeping her books! While she loved her customers (and her bees!), she found the numbers fascinating. After selling her business, Heather decided to pursue her passion for helping other small business owners and entrepreneurs start, grow, and focus their businesses. As a veteran of two wars and a breast cancer survivor, Heather has the tenacity and drive to help you and your business reach your goals.

Geek Bookkeeping, LLC offers virtual services while being nestled in the mountains of the Appalachian mountains, which means we are in EST. However, Heather works with clients in any time zone in the U.S. Geek Bookkeeping specializes in service-based industries, small retail businesses, and transportation. However, they are open to learning any industry's business flow.
